Join The Lettermen's Association Today!
Dear Wildcat Lettermen,
In early August, we began the 2010-11 ACU Lettermen’s Association membership drive. We are again aiming to set a new record in membership this year and want to have 500 active members commit to the association by the end of the year. I want to personally thank those of you who joined the association in 2009-10. Your interest and support of our athletic program is very much appreciated.
With more than 2,600 ex-lettermen, our goal this year is realistic and we need each of you to strongly consider being a part of this year’s success. We have some exciting changes that we want to make each of you aware of as well as you look to the future and ways you can contribute. This year, in addition to the annual $55/year dues, we are adding a “Lifetime” membership ($750) option at the request of many current lettermen. Your participation as a lifetime member ensures you do not have to worry about future dues the rest of your life and you will receive the following benefits with your personalized membership card:
- Present card throughout the year at any ACU regular season contest and get general admission adult tickets at the student price;
- Membership card is pre-loaded with 2 general admission tickets per year good for any ACU regular season home contest in any sport;
- One piece of Athletic apparel at your signup.
The Lettermen’s Association is once again hosting the 2010-11 Wildcats Sports Hall of Fame induction in the Hunter Welcome Center, McCaleb Conference Room, Friday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the induction dinner our association will host a reunion for all Lettermen in the lobby area of the Hunter Welcome Center beginning at 8:30 p.m. The reunion is a great opportunity for former lettermen to reunite and reminisce, and I hope that you can be a part of this special occasion.
We also ask that you look for information for the ACU Golf Classic, benefiting the ACU Lettermen’s Association, to be held in the DFW, Houston and Austin/San Antonio areas next summer. Our first event this past June at Mira Vista Country Club in Fort Worth was a great success, and we hope you can join us again for great food, golf and fellowship.
Remember our drive to 500 active members. I am calling on you personally to help me and other members of the association reach this goal.
